You may recognize many of the terpene isolates we offer as names and aromas associated with common botanical sources. These compounds are found in essential oils extracted from citrus, hops. mint, cinnamon, birch, pine, eucalyptus, roses, rosemary, cloves, apple, lilac, and many other sources.
Major Cannabis Terpenes. As with cannabinoids, cannabis plant genetics and environmental growing conditions drive terpene production in the harvested plant. While some findings suggest that the cannabis plant may be capable of producing hundreds of distinct terpenoid compounds, there a few major terpenes everyone should be familiar with:
